The weather in Kefalonia is consistently warm throughout the summer months and (despite what the charts below suggest) is frequently rain free throughout the summer months.
Thunder storms in the early and late season are spectacular and, although rainfall is heavy, storms often pass quickly leaving the air fresh and clean.
Throughout the season the sea is beautifully warm and this is mirrored in the temperature of the many hotel and bar pools which are open to all.
During the winter months the temperature remains consistently warmer than the UK, though a light jacket will be required for coastal walks and in the evenings.
Frost and snow, though not unheard of, are very rare on the island other than on the heights of Mount Ainos.
